Important Changes Coming to the Vape Industry

For all our customers you know that we try and keep you guys in the loop and completely transparent about any changes to the vape industry, but if your an online buyer or you rely on supermarkets, corner shops etc for your vapes you might not know the upcoming changes.

With the rise of Disposable Vape many corner shops, barbers, hairdressers and other similar business' saw a quick quid by selling Disposable Vapes. With this happening many companies didn't exercise the 18+ rule and many children gained access to buying Disposable Vapes, some were probably well aware but others may have just been uneducated on the matter.

Due to this it caught the eye of our Government and they began to take action to try and curb this Teen-Vaping Pandemic by introducing a UK Vaping Duty Tax. Which will see the prices of ALL E-Liquids raising in price.

To give you an idea of the impact of this Vaping Duty Tax, these are the expected price changes from October this year:

• 100ml Shortfills: around £10 ➝ £36.40

• 10ml Nic Salts/Freebase: around £4 ➝ £7

• 10ml Nic Salts/Freebase 3 for £10: ➝ 3 for £18

Be aware this is not going to benefit Legitimate Vape Shops at all, this is not extra profit this is purely Tax, with these higher costs, many shops are going to struggle to carry extra stock, cope with demand and unfortunately we will see many small independent vape shops closing down and unemployment figures rise. 

This Blog is not just to educate the unaware & raise awareness of the upcoming Vape Tax but a call to action to please support your Local Vape Shop like ourselves through this testing period. Supporting legitimate Specialist Vape Stores who have advanced knowledge and experience is more important than ever. 

One huge pro if this Vape Tax is, many companies who jumped on the hype and started selling vapes may not bother continuing selling vapes which in turn directs these potential customers to specialist Vape Shops who have educated and helped millions of people with vaping since the beginning who need the support the most.
